That was rumoured every year while Bugsy was coaching, why would it happen now he's finished?

Lock has its centenary year this season, so a lot of local lads are heading back for that I think. Not sure if Beard is in that boat.

Interested they would let Beard go in Movember. Would think they would wait until December and then cut Beard free

Was along the lines of what I was told.. funny a young bloke like him hasn't given SANFL a shot

Haven't heard a lot on the Hamley and HWE fronts regarding players into the club so far?
Anyone have any news on either? Both would be looking for some major ins after an exodus from Hamley and a winless year at HWE

I've heard Matt Higgs back to HWE. Not sure if this is old news or whether it's even true? But a nice IN for HWE if so. Also another couple of names floating around at the Rising Sun were two pretty BIG SANFL players names! One who just recently retired this year and the other who was out at HWE not too long ago and making a return again back!

Not Adam Grocke or Luke Powell? Two retirees from WWT Eagles this year with the Cicolella connection (I take it this is who you're referring to?)

No Grocke but Powell and Cicolella! Could just be bullshit talk and rumours as usual but for HWE sacks let's hope not!!

Wow, $120,000 cut to $55,000! Big cut.. But did hear that last year there weekly budget was $9,500pg considering stribling was on the $1300 or there abouts and heard Duncan and dowdell were also not far off.. I would imagine there budget was very big! Still gotta put Herbele, Hanson, thach, Flynn, zanandrea appleton etc... others were in the mix also but would of been on less then this group...

Powelly's wife plays netball at HWE so seems logical to me. Be great for the Eags and the comp for that matter. Have also heard several CMS players may end up with HWE too.
