You dont recruit 2 fringe players from the best team the comp has ever seen and not play them. Cheney will finish top 10 in your B&F and Lowden will play every game.
Podsiadly is finished
Jaensch/ Shaw not up to it.
Betts goes missing when it counts against the good teams.
Walker will never challenge for the Coleman, i must have missed when he ever has, he's just not that good. On par with Waite.
The entire midfield burns the footy by foot.

Having said that they will make the 8, the beauty of the "fixture"

wow....

Ever???

Essendon 1985
Hawthorn 1989
West Coast 1994
Carlton 1995
Essendon 2000
Brisbane 2001
Geelong 2007
Collingwood 2010

All have these Hawks covered. Standard of the league is shit now with 18 teams. Daisy trolling again.

All-Australian defender Daniel Talia has been added to Adelaide’s six-man senior leadership group.

Talia capped off an outstanding 2014 season by winning the Club’s best and fairest award, and his elevation to an official leadership role reflects his standing within the playing group.

The Crows have reduced the size of the leadership team by one, with 23-year-old Talia joined by Patrick Dangerfield, Rory Sloane, Scott Thompson, Nathan van Berlo and Taylor Walker.

Senior Coach Phil Walsh said the Club was fortunate to have a number of quality leaders, including several who did not hold an official title.

“Each member of the group possesses a unique leadership style and as a group they complement each other well,” Walsh said.

“All of them have a strong presence and what is best for the team sits at the forefront of their minds. It is also important to remember that leadership doesn’t start and finish with these guys, and everyone is expected to fulfil their potential in this area.”

Recruited with pick No.13 in the 2009 National Draft, Talia played every game in Season 2014, bringing his career tally to 76. He is also a winner of the AFL’s NAB Rising Star Award.

Walsh said Talia had shown maturity beyond his years in standing and beating the game’s best forwards.

“Daniel has elite standards with his preparation and training, and is reliable both on and off the field,” Walsh said.

“With the recent retirement of Ben Rutten, he has eagerly stepped up to lead what will be a young defensive group.”

Adelaide is yet to name a captain with an announcement expected in the New Year.

They said it has reduced by one. Rutten went out but who was the other one?

Reckon Sloane is our new captain.

Rutten wasn't there last year either, Jacobs and Douglas are the ones that drop out of the leadership group

A real like for like year with list management

Lowden for graham as back up ruck
Dear for mckernan as key fwd/ruck
Cheney for Thompson as third key def
Lever for rutten as key def
Cameron for Petrenko as small fwd
McGovern for Johnston as third key fwd/lead up
Wigg for Porplyzia as utility with good kick
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Don't know much about the draftees but it seems we managed to recruit according to our needs quite well.

Jake Lever looks like he takes the game on. His highlights show him selling pups and using the ball by foot. Coming off a knee recon but should develop nicely.

Wigg looks like a pretty smooth mover, who uses the ball well and left footed which is what we need.

Lever will hopefully turn into the Nathan bock style rebounding CHB to compliment talia.

Hopefully wigg puts pressure on Mackay jaensch and brown

The others look like projects but if McGovern follows the same track as his brother we will be happy.

Interesting that we took Lever over Durdin. What pick did most of the punters have Lever going at?

From what I saw about there.

Apparently was touted as a top 3 pick a year ago but missed all of last year with a knee reco.

Goddard slipping too was surprising.

im personally looking forward to seeing Brad Crouch, hopefully have a full preseason under his belt. I think he has all the attributes to become a top line midfielder. Needs to fix up his disposal a bit but doesnt have a problem finding the footy and is a powerful athlete.

Quote from a tiser article

"AFL statistical analyst Champion Data rated Lever as the sixth-best performed teenager in the country and had him inked as a top-three pick before his knee injury."
