so I had an elderly guy roll up to the house today to try and get me to pay to put my letter on the curb with a black background and white for the numbers.
It costs $20 and is designed to help get people into work and is good for emergency services to find your house etc.

well given the extreme hikes that we have all experienced with out Emergency Services Levy, and it only costs $20 surely the cost and job could have been funded through the Levy????

I usually get up, have a coffee while checking out safooty.net, iron a shirt, shower up and leave for work an hour or so before my shift starts. This process usually takes an hour or two. I hate to rush and be rushed.

I'm not one who can get out of the car and go straight into work. I like to have some 'chill' time before I deal with stupid ****.

Anyone who knows me well enough knows that I am always early.

I've never been a morning person and so it takes me about an hour, a light breakfast, and a couple of cups of tea before I face the shower.
However, in urgent circumstances I can push myself along a bit faster. Today, I'm not under any pressure and am having a catch up with the news day. So I haven't made it to the shower yet.

Most of my professional life I've worked 10am till 6pm because it suited me to do so, and a few months ago I took a two day a week job at an SA hospital.
They had advertised the job as 8am to 4pm but when I heard on the grapevine they had not been able to fill the temporary vacancy I offered to fill in 10am till 5pm. That was acceptable to them.

My mother and sister were similar to me , but my father was the family exception - always up at 5am and asleep by 9pm

I get up at 5.30, get dressed, have breakfast while being my phone which includes SAfooty, pack my bag, brush my teeth and out the door by 6.05/6.10.
