Tassie 227 in front

They will probably put him back in the test side now, one hopes not

Agree, handy first class cricketer with not enough weapons to make it as a consistent test match batsmen

All personal scores against the Redbacks should be divided by 4. To make it fair.

And then halved again when made on AO

Include bowlers in that Siddle doesnt look like getting a wicket but managed 5/30 against the redbacks. Cowan with 4 centuries this season is impressive but I'd like to see Burns from Queensland given a shot with Ashes next year in mind.

Just tuned in to watch Raph play one of the worse innings i have ever seen. It must be an anxiety thing as he is a much better player than that.

We've been rolled on day 4 twice, can we make it a hatrick?

Let's not forget the past couple of weeks. Raphael has replaced a bloke that was killed in the team's last start. He also not only has to deal with that, Hilfenhaus nailed him in his first ever Shield match on the scone and to top things off the late Phillip Hughes picked him up off the turf after being knocked out by James Pattinson in his 2nd game.

I agree not a good game but there are major external factors here. Hilfy has played test cricket, Raphael had to work his arse off until his mid 20's to get a chance.

Yes. He spent the night in hospital then resumed and hit the winning runs.

Only thanks to BP - could easily have been sitting last as well

Should be thankful the game we lost to NSW we were able to bowl them out quickly in the 1st innings and score quickly - gained 2.43 BP which kept us from being bottom.

To be fair it's tough to remain upbeat and confident being a Redbacks supporter when the continually promise so much, give glimmer of hope and then capitulate and crash back to Earth time and time again.

Comments posted on here aren't about putting the boot it, they are more a reflection of the absolute frustration and disappointment.
