Bunker on the right of 16? And you hit water on the 14th I'm guessing....

3rd shot went into the bunkers on 16, clipped the trees off the tee, stuffed the 2nd shot and the chip over the bunkers was 6 inches short.

Drive on 14 into the water, didn't quite come back enough and landed on the bank, off cutter into the drink.

Yep that ruins a good score. Learnt very quickly to leave the driver in the bag on some holes. Better off using a 4 iron off the tee!

Well, with 100 balls in the bucket I figured I'll hit 50 odd and Miss Boon hit 20 or 30 before she gives it away.

How wrong.

I hit about a dozen or so while she proceeded to duff several, then off the deck ( no point learning with a tee ) about 90-110m with good flight with a 7 iron swing after swing.

She flushed about a dozen with her 5 iron up to about 130m.
PAFC. Forever.

Went around North Adelaide South today in 100 under pretty difficult conditions. Very frustrating @ times however I found today's hardest task was persistence.

On a side note on the 10th I had a group of 10 back packers, some with dreadies hanging around the hole. They walked towards me half way up the fairway to watch me take a shot @ the green from 150. They gathered behind me to watch my shot and I was certain they would belt me across the back of my head and steal my shit. I was going to tell them to piss off so I could take my shot but a couple of the birds were the hottest things I've ever ******* seen so I couldn't bring myself to telling them to go away. In the end I ****** the shot but I still made the right choice I feel....

It was an odd round. If it wasn't for my mixed bag of lollies on the green I would have shot 6-7 less. Missed 2 foot puts but made the 3 x 15 foot ones. Shits me.

i took a couple of pics as I was up there yesterday

the course is in magnificent condition

I was looking at Thaxted, but not at $40 a round even though it is just up the road, I was happy to drive up to Echunga for $25 a round a fairly empty course :D

the weather was sensational

the course isn't an overly difficult one, there are a couple of holes where you need to think about ball placement off the tee.

Urrghhh....bad, bad memories on that tee block and it gets me shaking every time.

About 20 people lined up to start and while they're watching I duff one that barely made the thick, thorny stuff in front of you. Worst. Tee. Shot. Ever.

One of our blokes can trump you Booney. We had a Club v Club game about 15 years ago down there. I was in the first group and we all made it safely down the hill. That left about 30 blokes behind us, as we crossed the concrete path on the first fairway an almighty roar came from the first tee. After ducking behind the buggy for a few seconds, nothing came bouncing past.

After the round I found out one of our blokes had a full blooded airy!
