From what I've been told, this is the order of who gets first preference to take SW spot and play in Div 3 in 2015:

Salisbury
Eastern Park
Pooraka
Hope Valley

I'm assuming Kilburn already confirmed they want to play in Div 4 which is why they are not on the list?

We are discussing it thursday night at a committee meeting, if by chance they get that far down the list and need an answer...

i heard the same 4-6 weeks ago but havent seen it eventuate yet..still early days though..

Any names you wanna give out?

I hope Salisbury West amd Kilburn both stay where they are meant to we need the comp to go back to normal instead of teams playing by there own rules.

no sorry, but 2 names i heard both played AFL..

They must be working there way down that list very quickly because North Haven have been contacted too, we would be bottom of the list.

How about SW actually just play where they belong? Or the league tell them where they should play...

footy chick what i posted would be great for SAAFL they have said there are to many clubs to each other here is the perfect chance to get rid of 2 clubs by putting them in div 7 with 0 points to play with

im sure both clubs could fill 0 point sides until they rebuilt juniors rather then splash cash and we end up at this but keep banging that head against the wall

How many juniors would wanna play at a shit club thats gonna be down the bottom of the whole comp for years, when theres a team in div 3, 4, or 5 just down the road?

Thats one reason the SFL is always lopsided.

What have kilburn done or asked for? They forfeited a few games but did their best to field a side. They got pumped, come last and relegated and are now rebuilding a side within the rules for 2015. So on the other hand have applied to go down divs. different stories. Did you lose a grand final to them? Don't be a chic hater.

My remaining beef with Kilburn was the constant bitching and whining to the media about how other clubs paying players too much had caused their players to walk out leading to their current situation.

The hypocrisy and failure to account for other systemic issues was breathtaking and caused the League as a whole far more problems for a mess that was entirely of Kilburn's making.

I think it's a blight on the league when matches in high divisions are so lop-sided.

I think expectation that the Kilburn chaos in season '14 was an aberration has now moved to hope. It looks like it is going to happen more and more and will need to be dealt with. Merry Christmas JK !

With them in D3 and forfeiting B grade every week and even having to forfeit A grade games from time to time was unfair to all players and clubs in D3/R. The two team minimum rule may treat this in part, but to force clubs in this situation to stay up doesn't help either. I don't have the answer, but rules that encourage sustained success, premierships and promotion across all clubs would help.

I think club's should worry about their own backyard. If another club in your division has a bad year and forfeits their B-Grade, just get on with it FFS.

The leagues in a bit of a no win situation here (a bit like Kilburn in 2014......BOOM!!!) ;)

Some people think keeping them up is bad, the rest think letting them drop down is bad.

The only other alternative is to make them fold, which is not good for anybody.
