See with my previous post when he had taken 4 wickets. I had an epiphany that he would take 5. Go Hazellwood. If I was Siddle Id start to get used to representing Victoria for the rest of his career if Josh stays fit.

Should Lyon come back over the wicket here? Not sure he should bowl leg stump line to tail Enders.

Edit: Warney just mentioned it too :)

MJ at 1 end. JH at the other. Straight on the popping crease in front of off stump. OUT piss off Id say.

Agree I think Lyon get sucked in to bowling around the wicket a bit too often.

Mate, when I was playing cricket. I used to always come in either at no 10 or no 11. I wouldnt normally last an over (if the ball was pitch in-line with the stumps. Id normally get bowled). but I do remember on one special occasion we were 8 for 55 and I came in thinking it was going to be a early visit to the pub. But thanks to some lucky shots and some unlucky fielding. I slogged my way to 42 off 18 balls to make the score a teeny bit respectable. We ended up losing in a close match as we got them down to 8 for before they hit the winning runs.

That's what I love about cricket. Despite so much need for technical proficiency, every player can have their day. Even if it's just one day.

I've been a critic of Peter Siddle but we missed him today. With Siddle you know you are going to get a bloke who will provide at the very least a good grouping of deliveries and a guy who can bowl all day. Starc was very disappointing. His pitch map covered more ground than Burke and Wills except they had a better sense of direction. Short, wide, no pace and he appears to have the heart of a pea.

Siddle has been down on pace but at least he knows where to put the ball. I don't think we can select Starc ahead of him again. We look bog ordinary without Ryan Harris and that is a massive worry.

Throw in a slightly out of sorts MJ and the attack is very pedestrian
