Ive read this BM !
If Australia gets in a position to declare what should Smith do ?
Clarke set a target when the series was 0-0 all in Adelaide , a good gamble
Australia is now 2-0 up
Would Smith set say a target of 360 stumps day 4, or even say 330 into the last day
Logically he should not give the Indians a sniff being 2-0 up

Personally I wouldnt I generally like to play the safe card
But have heard Lehmann and Clarke talk a few times about doing whatever is required to win each individual test regardless of the series status
Both have said something along the lines of it's about the entertainment for fans etc etc

Also mitchy j is really struggling but I think the indians play the the short one reasonably well nowadays, where they struggle is outside off on a good length as they tend to have a nibble at it as shown in their english series.
