Makes you wonder why he didn't go for the one that Watson dropped.

too much of that going on, Indian batsman were having drinks 2nd over after tea for 8 overs straight, absolute joke

Make the batsman go to the boundary to get what they need. They won't be wanting things every second over if they have to expend energy jogging there and back

Ive read this BM !

If Australia gets in a position to declare what should Smith do ?
Clarke set a target when the series was 0-0 all in Adelaide , a good gamble
Australia is now 2-0 up
Would Smith set say a target of 360 stumps day 4, or even say 330 into the last day

Logically he should not give the Indians a sniff being 2-0 up

Personally I wouldnt I generally like to play the safe card

But have heard Lehmann and Clarke talk a few times about doing whatever is required to win each individual test regardless of the series status

Both have said something along the lines of it's about the entertainment for fans etc etc

I'd be plenty entertained if we bat until tea on day 5 and set them 500. We win the B-G trophy and that 183cm penis Virtwat can go F@ck himself.

Don't even give them a chance to keep this series alive.

Virat can be a twat but its nice to see an indian with a bit of fight and aggression, its a nice change from their weak and soft players of the past. Also mitchy j is really struggling but I think the indians play the the short one reasonably well nowadays, where they struggle is outside off on a good length as they tend to have a nibble at it as shown in their english series.

Agreed, I've got no problems opposition teams/players playing "close to the line" with respect to the aggression and verbals.

Some of the things Kholi does makes me cringe but then, so does some of the stuff Warner and Haddin do.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Good call. Didn't Locky have them down for 800 ;)

Now let's bat all day, get a 350 lead and then bat some more tomorrow.

If they can break the openers early the likes of Watson, SMarsh and Burns would have to be very nervous. I think we are in for a cracking day of cricket.

After being 3/409 the Sooks lost 7/56. Vibrates right, we do lose our cool

Horrid first over has released the first pressure valve. If Davey gets away and is still there at lunch this game is almost certainly only capable of two results.
