Better your mates get it than your new missus who will fleece you anyway.

FWIW, I got married at Longview in 2011. Their planner was terrific in the lead-up. Everything went really well on the day (minor quibble about them playing the wrong song as we were signing the registry..no big deal ).

Opted for a tapas style menu rather than their standard wedding options. Plenty of food.

Was a bit of cold/drizzly day, so the verandah was perfect for pre dinner drinks/eats.

The accommodation was ideal for the 3 nights we were there. Apparently this is now different/new though.

All the best scottroo.

Our wedding at Longview 2 weeks ago was perfect. Was a 28 degree day with a cloudless sky. All our guests seemed very impressed by the venue, inside and outside. We had cocktail service, the food was excellent (and more than enough), and the wine and beer was superb (we got the premium drinks package).

We did. All 12 rooms and the Homestead were booked out by our friends and family. Am glad I stayed there, as by 11:30, when the drinks stopped, I was quite drunk. Hard not to with such good champas, cider, beer and wine!

No doubt you'll have a great night!

Didnt see it. Any chance of posting it here?

We looked at Longview, and pretty much were about to lock it in until we did the calculations. I am a scrooge, so we found a place that looks similar, for a lot less. ;)
