I think most clubs would love to recruit Dangerfield, whether we can afford him is another question

I reckon you could. Had some big retirements recently.

Would he want to go to the Cats if there are too many big retirements? He is chasing a flag so I would think he would head to the club that will best offer him that along with a healthy pay cheque.

don't worry fella's when the AFL change their mind on our trade bans, we'll have a heap of room in our cap and the swans will get him... he would be handy having him starting up forward and going on the ball :D

With more to come next year. you would think.

Kelly, Enright, Bartel, McIntosh I would reckon with Mackie and Johnson to go round again. Kelly and Bartel in particular looked cooked last year but there's a case for Boris who had an early season injury. The flip side of bringing a young group together is that they go out together as well. Geelong have managed the exits reasonably well but we obviously aren't the powerhouse we were a few years back.

Geelong are still a chance with Dangerfield. Good cap space, Richmond are a Richmond. Although they have made the finals for the last 2 years, it has ended quickly. But as always with the tigers the potential is there, but never seems to be reached. Maybe Dangerfield would agree to go there. How knows, but at the moment the crows have are holding the cards as they can match any offer put forward.

Imagine the improvement they could make with a Captain that learns to kick with the wind when they win the toss.

I recalled the name and I thought 'hmm, former Club President'. After Googling him up I learnt he was much more than that. Premiership Player, Captain, Club benefactor and supporter and former President. Six decades of Cat Devotion.

RIP Ron, a true Catter.
