And if they get almost as many to a single big bash game in Brisbane as the entire test match I can't really blame them either.

So the one-day World Cup squad will be picked on T20 and Test match form ( or simply reputation ), Test match sides will be selected on T20 form ( as Agar was brought into the 4th Test squad ) ...?
Big Bash? Start or finish the summer with it, or both. Half of the games in October, get the "fans" into the game. Play the one-dayers as they used to, around the Shield fixtures, finish the summer with some Big Bash as you might keep people interested after a long summer of cricket.
The only thing is international players in the sides, and let's be fair, the top line internationals that come here are T20 whores who would go to Iraq for the right money. So they can fly in / fly out for 2 weeks at the start and end of the season.

There in lies the problem, kids lack attention spans now as it is, try keeping them focused on something longer than a couple of ........oh, look, there's a bloke who looks like that guy I saw in that Vine video last Wednesday. I think it was Wednesday. It was when I went to Maccas with Deano. I think it was Deano.
Anyway, attention spans, they'll struggle to comprehend the 450 overs over 5 days concept and what we, I trust you agree, know as the more pure form of cricket, Test cricket, will be a sideline to the *ahem* "Big Show".

If test match cricket crowds dropped because of increasing crowds in t20 do you think this is a positive for cricket overall
Would you like t20 to be the most prestigious, valued form of cricket
