Ahh spud-scud I see what you have done there, good job!!! But just FYI bluey knows I rate him very highly, and it was a bit of a joke from a drunken conversation at the test. Luckily stats from past two years means not much this year though. It's a even top 3 with GV still very much a dark horse.

So, I need to know are we the Barossa and light cricket comp or the Simon Koch & Angaston Cricket comp? another by law brought in by the so called EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE to appease SIMON bloody KOCH. So Lyndoch played an A1 Reserves player in the 4s, Im sure if it was against any other club than ANGASTON nothing would have been said.
Now clubs will be forfeiting games in the 4s because they cant fill a team even though they have players available through a bye in a higher grade.

WTF kind of rule is that, so if an 'a' grader can't play one week of a two week game because of a wedding and the A2 team are playing a two week game. He can't play 4s. Doesn't play cricket at all, tell them (kocho) they are ......... you can fill in the blank with a number of adjectives

Bit differant when all grades are playing one dayers that week and because the A's have a bye they load up their A3's and A4's.
Absolute crap from Lyndoch and have ruined it all for everyone now

Rubbish
Poor form by Lyndoch, why did the players bypass their A3's and go to the A4's?
Everyone played one dayers that week.
Surely you push the A1 players back to the A3's and it flows from there

Fail to see how its the execs fault that we have 15 A grade sides, im sure like everyone the execs would love to see a new club enter the comp and make it an even 8 sides in A1 and A1R, until this happens there will always be a bye in the A1R.
Not sure there is any other solution, the crossover games with A1R and A2 that was tried last year seemed ok but got panned by most clubs.

This is not even relevant, the A grade has a bye and the two best players drop and play A3 and others play A4 how is this in the spirit of the game, if club want to rort the system the exec needs to put rules into place, I'm sure clubs would be pretty happy to see Jimmy Vand or a Chris Mclean drop down to A3 or A4 if there was a bye in the 1s and potentially smash sides for the week.

I think the welfare of all clubs in the Barossa & Light should be looked after here, if we don't silly decisions could be made such as,
Games being re-scheduled
Which players can play in such re-scheduled games
Where and when players can play
Now we wouldn't want this to happen would we.

Obviously all second info to you dimwits, get hold of the actual rule and you might understand it better..
Lyndoch ****** it for everyone, playing the best cricketer and best bowler from A1 reserves in their A3s. Want to blame anyone blame them,
Their A1 have the bye in the last game of the season, would anyone put it past them to play their entire A1 team in whatever lower grade side needs a win to make finals? Well they cant now so problem fixed.
Nothing will change for 14 of the 15 clubs

I guess we have to give the south boys some props for getting a game up today. Did a good job on the leaf blowers and brooms to get the pitch somewhat safe to play on (Debatable).

They were also nice enough to give us all the points when we happily would have shared, so that was nice of them [emoji1]
