Exodus: Gods And Kings

Usually I dont enjoy biblical movies, but I went into this one just pretending people don't take this stuff seriously and it was a work of fiction, since it is, and actually really enjoyed it.

It goes for 2.5 hours, but it really doesn't feel that long.

Joel Edgertons acting is a bit shit in places (can't fake cry to save his life), but Christian Bail is very good.

8/10

Yeah I was keen on that one when I saw the preview before Horrible Bosses 2.

Is it actually a Strong script Jimmy or is your opinion slightly obscured because of your man crush on Bradley Cooper :)

Powerful film about Iraq and it's effect on soldiers
The end is quite heart wrenching as I didn't know the true story
Cooper is unrecognisable
I'm going to watch it again today (it might be different with a hangover[4])

We went to go see it yesterday so high is your opinion held in our family's regard ;) but noticed it isn't out until 22nd of Jan. Im guessing you downloaded it then??? It's actually one of those movies I reckon would benefit from the big screen. Might have to dust off the cobwebs from the wallet and fork out the $40 for this one :)

Corner Gas: The Movie is amazing.

Five years ago, the original TV series ended, but creator/writer/executive producer/star Brent Butt decided to bring it back, in movie form. The whole project was funded via Kickstarter, and had a limited cinematic release in Canada.

Here's the first ever episode:
Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.

A premise like that has the potential to be a masterpiece or a huge flop. I hope it's the former, as I'm a huge fan of the franchise.
