@RustyCage

Not that I can find on PIRSA.

Usually after some rain they put up temporary signage to say no water sports, fishing etc. I certainly haven't heard anything about it.

Had a cracking day out in the old mans boat yesterday.

18 blueys ( full of meat and big ), 16 good sized tommies, 14 gar, 12 mackerel ( great crab bait ) and a few whiting.

Excellent day out off of Largs, Semaphore and out on the Norma for the gar and mackerel.

What's general sentiment on the RecFish SA proposed recreational fishing licenses currently being looked at?

About $30 a year they're saying, based on interstate models in NSW and Vic. The money will go towards rec fishing initiatives etc.

I'm not against the idea - is $30 more than Vic charges?

Seeing as a regional MP stabbed the recreational fishermen in the back regarding the marine parks I'm not surprised at this.

For me it's marine parks or this. Not both.

RecFish SA supported the marine parks. Not sure if ALL the blame can be pointed at Brock but yes, he certainly didn't help when he voted in favour of the parks.

I heard Bignell this morning
So it's not Government policy and they aren't pushing it, but a Government department is
He doesn't want to do it but will listen to them (Gee, I wonder whether a Government department will recommend against pulling in new taxes, er sorry, levy, er sorry licence fee)
236,000 x $35 = $8,260,000
You don't reckon this is a f***ing set up by the Govt to introduce a new levy to get a hold of $8m

So, will I have to buy 4 licences for my family?
Where can I access the survey? Its not on the PIRSA site

Next a Government department would want to bring in registrations for bicycles!
