Very sad for all concerned.

Expect Matt Lokan to be the interim coach.

Even Nick Stevens?

Maybe the majority of pity here should be with the person he assaulted.

I'm not offering pity, but I think it is sad for him that he's descended to this level.
I think it is sad for him that he had no other way of communicating with his partner other than by violence or threats. And it is sad that he joins an ignominious list of men who have hit women.
It is not sad that he has been caught. And it will not be sad that he is punished.

As a husband and father of 3 daughters, any violence, let alone against women should be and is condemned in the strongest possible manner.

From their website

The Glenelg Football Club has been advised of the verdict handed down in Victoria's Ringwood Magistrate's court concerning Senior Coach, Nick Stevens.

The Board will meet tonight to discuss this decision and we will advise you of the result of this meeting as quickly as possible.

Surprised they aren't ready for this and can't put a pre-arranged plan in place immediately

Apart from needing a new Senior Coach, not much.

As stated earlier, expect Matt Lokan to be announced as caretaker coach until the recruitment process is finalised.

Give credit where credit is due. The CEO attended the first few days of the trail and addressed the players. They would have discussed the what if’s and I would assume the board will meet tonight to officially confirm their position.

Chigwidden just needs to run a few options for how to proceed past the Crows.
