What history? Have they won anything?

Sounds a bit like the old Port Adelaide/Port Adelaide Magpies argument. Which club is the true club? Maybe Mawson Lakes and St Pauls will merge back together again too.

Are there many Life Members, will they be recognized by both clubs or only Mawson Lakes - that is probably the true indication of who is the real club or if it is just a straight split.

Excuse the ignorance here.

Any SPOS people on here give some details about what they were required to have in order to go ahead this season in div 6? Was it the same as SW and Kilburn etc, have 50 players by this day etc etc, X amount of sponsorship, or was it just a case of granting the license and away you go to develop the club?

How have they been looking numbers wise? Any noteworthy names out there?

You can compare it to whatever scenario that it isn't like that you want.
It doesn't take away the fact, the original comment was extremely average.

I'm pretty sure they were required to provide similar 'evidence' as those clubs mentioned.

Is there an official reason why SPOS have been given direct inclusion to Div 6 if it is infact true? Is there a genuine concern with the players presented that they would be untouchable similar or better than Smithfield last year in div 7? Apologies if its been mentioned previously I haven't gone back through the pages prior to the post....

Do you think they can beat a Div 1 reserves side?

Now you're back in div 6 you should organise a trial? I still consider you a div 4 side however so it may not be a true reflection ;)

Look I'm still staggered SPOC can walk back in to Div 6, but seriously from what I've heard they have put a strong case together and let's face it Div 7 is a basket case with the uncertainty of who will play in it, justified by the league having not yet formulated a fixture, so where else would you put them.

its been a total foil for adelaide uni who hav managed to avoid promotion and will steer clear of div 6 despite being a grand finalist. normally over the last decade on this forum, such avoidence would be causing much unrest for the usual posting peoples on here who like to fly the sandbagging flags from their artillery

Adelaide Uni have been up and down the D6 and D7 divisions for years, they've had seasons where they've taken some licks and I don't think I have ever seen or heard of a single complaint. Neither on here or on game days.

So in my mind, if there was a C Grade side which would have a couple of brownie points up their sleeves in regards to staying in the 7th division, it would be The Blacks.

They also wouldn't be regarded as a clearly dominant top 2 side in Division 7 last year and arguably made the Grand Final after Houghton and North Pines wheels fell off for one reason or another. Would place them in a more precarious position than previous promotions.
