You'll still get to play footy, blokes miss games to rest or travel or babysit their puppies all the time. Now they have a bye to schedule their dirty weekend away with the wife.

Hasn't been to many trainings but looks like someone with natural talent that will adapt to the game quickly.

You see it all the time but I still don't get that, geez, when I was playing juniors none of us would have dared taking a game off for anything but injury or family disaster, let alone playing seniors

castration - because clearly you have no balls anyway if you get conned to marrying between April and September.
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

BYE's arent the worst thing in the world.. I dont mind an extra couple of games off, 16 games is still enough, especially if the option is to have a Mitchell Park or angle Vale type situation as the 10th team, or TTG before that..

Your club must'nt have the bye before the long weekend in june follwed by 2 away games , like central united have { at the moment} very little bar trade for 4 or 5 weeks can cripple some clubs.

But wouldnt you get 2 home games to start the year then? Having looked at the draw, We have the bye with 2 away games either side of it at this stage so we have a month away from home.. Surely the club wouldnt be 'crippled' by not having that 1 home game where the bye is.. Having seen first hand the Profit and Loss of bar takings on events at our club, one missed home game wont be the be all and end all of a club.. Some clubs will probably end up in front saving on paying blokes for an away game in which bar takings would be minimal if any

Rent, oval hire and plenty of bills are monthly, with only 1 Saturday to make revenue can stretch the budget somewhat, especially if it's a week that you lost.

Manage your money better from the months where you have many home games. Not hard.
