Are the rumours I'm hearing about this grade true???

Will the team make up undergo a major overhaul early this week???

It was remarked to me from someone involved in D8, that it might be easier for their club if they put their C/D grade in D7, considering the quality of the teams in D8 :D

The only clubs who it would be a realistic option for (in my view) are Modbury and PAOC.

Without a fifth side, having the 8 blokes miss out on a game of football each week isn't worth any possible gain

There is definitely some scope to implement an increased bench in D7R if C/D Grades are involved in the Division.

I can understand that, but realistically how much of a go do players 21-25 selected in the team actually get.
Personally I'd be happy to go with 21 against 25 any day. No matter how well drilled you are, rotating 7 thru the bench has to unsettle the side a bit. As a coach I reckon I'd find it to be a massive headache too.

You don't have to fill the bench if you don't want to or can't.

Everything you say is correct.

But on the other hand the 25 person bench is definitely extending careers that would have died from natural attrition years ago. Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages.

The biggest advantage of the 25 person C Grade/D Grade sides is whilst you only "need" say 22 players, it means you don't have blokes missing out on games so they don't get discouraged too early in the season leaving you with the depth you need in July.

I said that to Yanky after the schedule was released, that for the first time in my memory the division below could be considered stronger than the one above. Perhaps not at the top but depth wise.

If we can put a man on the moon I am sure the great minds of humanity would be able to solve this problem.

If the choices were:

Play an unbalanced draw with 21 blokes and no C Grades OR play a perfect draw with 25 blokes and C Grades...

The latter would win all day every day.

EDIT: SHIT sorry, is the C Grade talk still banned??

Did we put a man on the moon though? Why have we not been back since? Why are we not mining minerals up there?

We did go back 4 months later in Apollo 12, 2 times in 1971 in Apollos 14 and 15 and 2 more times in 1972 in Apollo 16 and 17.

Yes, 43 years ago, look at the technological advancements in that time, yet no more missions to the moon?

Ever chased a hot girl, finally manage to cut her from the herd, have some fun and tick some boxes, brag to your mates and get some high fives ... only to realise that there really isn't that much there and to keep maintaining the relationship would be costly and not that beneficial for anyone involved?
