IMO NZ winning is good for Australia if we can get the job done over India. NZ developed a bully game thats all dash and bash on their small ovals. Now in a final they may have to play a good side and think twice before they take the fielder on the fence on. Big change in game plan needed for the Kiwis

On the same token, I think the Saffers played all of their preliminary games in NZ too.

Played atleast two in Aus.
Lost to India at the MCG and pretty sure they played the Windies at the SCG.
Think the Ireland game might of been here too

Can anyone tell me why there's a two day break between semi-finals? I would have thought that having them on consecutive days would have been the obvious way to do it.

I believe it was to allow the winner of the first final sufficient time to travel from NZ to Aus and get an extra practice day in

I would've thought that one day would've been sufficient - it only takes a couple of hours to get from Auckland to Melbourne. That's still pretty much an extra day.

Now that the Kiwi's are having to play on a full sized cricket field, they'll need all the practice they can get!

Because each semi final has a reserve day.

Yes but they have a reserve day for the semis as posted above so just in case it still gives them time to travel.
