Agnew is my favourite --- makes it worth staying up the long hours just to catch his marvellous sense of humour
Don't mind Nicholas 'cos the other option is usually the awful Peter Roebuck
Also great to hear Bumble --- good sense of humour and great to listen to
Sounds like I'm a Pom, but actually an Aussie.
As for Aussies, Mark Taylor always knows what he is talking about. Can't stand Ian Chappell who always seems to have a bee in his bonnet and harps, harps, harps on it.

Here they are grouped by country, with Shamim Chowdhury added to the list:

Aust: Chappell, Greig, Moody, Nicholas (I think he is supposed to be part of the Australian group as England have enough there as you'll see)
Ban: Khan, Chowdhury
Eng: Atherton, Botham, Hussain, Lloyd, Wilkins
Ind: Ganguly, Gavaskar, Manjrekar, Shastri
NZ: Doull, McMillan, Morrison
Pak: Rameez Raja, Wasim Akram
SA: Jackman, Klusener, Symcox
SL: Arnold (have Sri Lanka ever had a commentator before?)
WI: Bishop, Cozier (surprised Holding isn't commentating as well)
Zim: Campbell, Mbangwa (could have also been in the SA lot, but because Zim only have one rep, he's here)

I like Ian Smith. He's clearly a kiwi, but self depreciating. The NZ v Aus game earlier in the tournament he was classic!

Some of his best work was in this domestic 20/20:

Kevin Pietersen seems like a funny fellow. All tournament he's been putting on an excellent South African accent.

They can be funny sometimes, those Poms.

I was enjoying the commentary all through the World Cup and then BAM, I heard Tubby on there yesterday, I don't know if I've avoided his stints or what but gee we're blessed with some absolute pus!

I reakon AB is about the worst. He constantly goes on "We all know what it's like to play in a World Cup semi-final". "We all know what a dressing room gets like when things are close".

No, actually, I don't and neither would 99.99% of the listening audience.

Haven't watched much of the WC (no foxtel) but have enjoyed the commentary. 100% improvement on the BS dished up by C9 over the summer. Shows that guys like Warne and co can actually provide some insightful views when they dont spend half the time talking about themselves.

Thought this too it's a bit like the naughty kids in a class teacher separates them up and they start behaving themselves. I personally can't handle Brayshaw so I'm going to blame him as the ringleader at Nine! Thank the gods the old & the new that we haven't been subjected to that clown in the WC although I did start to cringe when Tubby started his all too eager over-analysing in the SF.

Listen here youngster I won't have a word against the great AB. If it wasn't for him we'd be going out as early as England (waggles finger in Boon's direction). :)

I reckon Warne is the worst these days. Starting to become Cricket's Rex Hunt. Shame, cos he knows the game like few others.

Warnie was painful at the end of the WC yesterday. "Few drinks lads?" "Lots of drinks lads" "Pop a few skinny pills after the drinks lads?"

Brilliant to hear Nasser Hussain, Jonathan Agnew (on radio) and Harsha Bhogle during the World Cup.

They've been a breath of fresh air on TV and I hope Channel Nine starts bringing in overseas commentators again like they did with Bumble and Vaughan during the Ashes last summer and Bumble during this summer.

Would love to see the Indian Richie (Bhogle) become a presence on Australian tv over the summer in the future, I feel he's wasted on ABC radio.

I reckon Warnie's sniff kicked in a little earlier than he anticipated.

Just terrible. Once Pup goes they probably won't even drink with him. He won't be growing old gracefully I'm afraid.

It's never brilliant to hear Nasser Hussain. Flog of the highest order. Quite like Agnew and Bhogle though.
