I heard Tom Lipson made a good return from injury for North haven in the b grade yesterday, too bad about the terrible man bun though.

The blokes 3 blokes from SWest to Havens that got 750 sign on each and 400 a game to play football. Not to mention a midfielder at Rosie's that gets around the Port more than a STD!

I'd say that it's a bit far fetched also... BUT... Who gives a shit what havens do or don't spend! Maybe those commenting have a bit of a complex. If these lads can take haven to the next level or play finals, then that's great! Let's face it.... Players get paid and those that can aren't paid forever! Make hey whilst the sun shines boys!!!!

Not exactly extreme money. Just under $10,000 for the entire year - if they are quality A-Graders that's probably cheap

if North Haven can afford 20-30k a year in player payments good on them they can build a nice team with it..

i don't think a club would pay a sign on bonus though that's insane on its own

The insane ones are the clubs that pay sign on bonuses before a player clears to them.

More than a few tears that has caused.

Agree any club that can afford to pay players and does is fine by me.

But we can all agree that the numbers spoken about on here are absolutely ridiculous, which is what you would expect on a forum.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

I went along and watched the Westminster internal trial on the weekend.

Deadset, the coach of the white team was an absolute muppet. Clearly sent his blokes out to go the biff. Just completely unnecessary in a trial game I thought. Not like they're playing for premiership points out there.

And I have no idea why, but the umpire was a massive cheat. Just ridiculous. Must be related to someone on the green team or getting paid on the sly by them.

They both had players missing, but I reckon from what I saw that the green team will be hard to beat for the flag this year and the white team have dropped well down in my projections now.

:)
