Yeah, there's quite often campers set up there, I've heard it's free for them to camp.

With the season a week out, what are everyone's tips for the year?
Mine are as follows,
Premiers - Mallala
Wooden Spoon - Hamley Bridge
Mail Medal - Craig Holm (United), Runner-Up - Matt Campbell (HWE)
Leading Goal Kicker - Brendon Niklaus (Virginia)
Best Under 21 - Josh Appelby (HWE)
Improvers - United/HWE

And tips for round 1:
Mallala by 20 goals plus
Balaklava by 16 points

Neville Still runs around at training with the boys, probably the best kick on both feet in the comp so wouldn't surprise me :lol:

Wondering how the junior numbers are stacking up this year. Will each club have both U14 & U17? Last few years has been a bit of a disaster with bye rounds and forfeits.

How about biggest improver other than united is two wells.

Has there been forfeits?
I do think that there is some number issues this season but I don't recall any forfeits beforehand, a few times where there's been some top ups from the other team though.

Forfeits is probably the wrong word. Moreso when some sides didn't have the pre-requisite numbers to start a game and players swapped at the begininng. Anyhow, just wondering if all clubs will be able field teams. There has be a general decline in junior numbers over the years and a lot of work to encourage kids to play. Is it working?
