good stat from bruce - just said only 44% of his possessions have been inside 50, compared with 58% last year. and still got his 3 goals.

Needs to be careful with holding a player down by the throat though. Brian Lake ring a bell.

Given a ton of people had north as a top 4 side, still very happy with that win.

Singing the song on the oval is for Grand Finals, not round one

Singing the song at afl level seems so pointless. Except for grand finals, not one player ever looks like they want to be there singing it.

But singing it with the fans like that whilst pretty cringey, would be good for those die hard fans in the first few rows at least, I guess.

Very cringe worthy.

Great start for the Crows, onto Collingwood next week.

He was far from our worst player, Jasper continues to make pathetic & costly decisions. Tonight we did get exactly what we deserved with poor disposal by senior players at critical moments. Let's wait and see how good your Hawks are in 2015 because they too will get what they deserve...

How funny are all the retards on FB losing their shit over round one!

Just goes to show how many "supporters" actually know anything about footy.

People need to calm their tits

Soooo, how was your Easter Sunday?
Mine was crap. Took the old man who's a crows supporter to the footy and watched that shit we served up.
Weak, insipid, pedestrian, lacking effort, heart, spirit - should I go on?
Apart from Goldy, Swallow & to a lesser degree Thompson & Cunnington, the rest were pitiful.
Second to the footy, reactive and simply watched on most of the day.
The ironic thing was when we got a run on in the third qtr & kicked the first six, Goldy put it down our blokes throats every centre bounce, just like he had in the second qtr when the crows had their good run - only we didn't fumble it in the third qtr.
I thought Thompson battled hard down back but the way the ball was coming in, no one would've stopped Walker yesterday.

Thankfully it's only round 1.

Pittards error was caused by no one moving down the field, all standing flat footed. It took two possessions to get the ball to Jasper and by the time he got it the Freo players had corralled us to their goal line. At least he took the game on when we needed it unlike some others. Game in the balance and we are handballing around in circles
