Narrowed down to ale house, snitty house or earl of Leicester. Will book at lunch time. Leaning towards the earl but what is the consensus on here? I have never been to either by the way.

$16.90 for the Big Birk - bacon, eggs, toast, mushrooms, roma tomatoes, baked beans and spanish sausage.
Never had a bad meal for lunch and breakfast was just as good. Massive amount of mushrooms was the highlight.

Great playground for the kids and they eat free but unfortunately I don't have kids.
25% off voucher meant it was $30 for two and a 6/10 schnitzel was as good as it gets there. It did look suspiciously like the coles deli variety though. Girl behind the counter may have been serving us at the wrong time of the month or perhaps gets fined for smiling.
There are 5 better pubs/clubs within a 5km radius.

Went to the Carlisle again last night, and Im thinking they might buy the schnittys from the same place. Pretty average. Ok to go grab something if I dont want to cook, but its not somewhere I would "go out for tea".
The chips tasted very old as well.
First time we went - 7/10
Last nights visit - 4/10

Worst meal I ever had - I dont think we even finished it and haven't been back since.

Tonight Im gonna get the mixed grill at North Haven Footy Club. If you haven't had one there, you haven't had a mixed grill.
A little story while Im bored about the NHFC mixed grill....
A couple of years ago, I was just minding my own business, struggling through the immense amount of meat on the plate, and a guy I'd never met came over and told me I better finish it. When I asked why, he said he had $50 on me finishing it, and his mate at the bar had $50 against me.....his mate won.

Have you tried the Exeter mate? Was wondering what that's like these days?
