Rnd 2 - Eagles v West at Woodville Saturday 2.10

Postby DOC » Mon Apr 06, 2015 9:41 am

First game for points for both clubs.

Mickan has had West up and about during the trials as have the Eagles.

Often get upsets in round one but not here.

Eagles by 5 goals.

West at home under lights might have been a better opener. Let's hope the points difference isn't bigger than the crowd. Eagles by 6 goals

I think some will be surprised by this years Eagles . Seem much fitter in the midfield than previous years Boyd at Elizabeth last week being a good example .
A very different game plan as well . Wonder if the Pup is playing ?

I'm hoping for an eagles win

Yep no Powell and Kane in the midfield will make a huge difference they were both way too slow

I think Powell last year started of very well . But as the year went on his legs must have felt like mine do over 50 and useless.

Think if Boyds fit Hayes coming in and if eagles are lucky the pup . and new game style watch out

Reckon Scott Lewis did a groin at training last night, came off very early. Both Petrenko and Thurlow trained.
