Both were named for us. Both played last night for the crows. Not sure if they had limited game time last night but stats suggested they didn't get a lot of it. As far as I know they will have blue, green and gold on this arvo

Hang on, I don't reckon they're allowed to play for you if they played for the Crows last night, did they end up playing for you today?

Rule 23.30 of the SAAFL Rules

23.30
No Member Club player shall play for any other club prior to or after a match of The League in any one
round with the exception of The League’s Under 18 Division matches and any school matches.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

I have no doubt that the club would have done the correct thing here and got the Crows to clear the players

Unfortunately it's not the Crows final say though, they don't run the league ;) . Will be interesting to see how it pans out in any case.

I'm trying to remember if there is a precedent... @Jetters, did something similar happen with Angus Clarke recently?

I think GG will have their score removed and will be 0-0 and the win and percentage will go to the opposition

What happened with Iggies vs Mitcham??

Can't see too many sides knocking off Athelstone in Div 3, they were good in their trial vs us and big results so far. Athelstone vs Phos GF.
