If humanity stuck to the rules all the time, we would still be living in caves. Sometimes rules have to be broken for the larger good. Pragmaticism is a lost art, it seems.

I would love it if the Executive just came out and went BANG! this is how it is, stuff your delegates votes, stuff your quasi bushman's democracy, stuff your pieces of paper with rules on them, this is it because we have the ability to think strategically and a group of volunteers with self serving agendas, do not.

At a minimum it would be a catalyst for changing the ridiculous system.

Not at all, if you took the time to understand what I am saying, you would realise I am actually suggesting people like me should have LESS power to influence or make decisions.

I do think that there is merit, however, the horse has bolted, North Pines are going to win every game by at least 15 goals in Div. 7R, they are no lone soldiers for teams that have dominated this grade though.

Looking forward to the challenge though.

We will answer that after this Saturday crabman. Mind you looking at last weeks team I wouldn't mind their top 6 or 7 in our A's.

I was looking at the score and on sporting pulse they had R.Wanganeen with 10 goals but in the paper they had B.Wilson with 10 goals. It's not like they're similar names and could be mixed up.

A pretty impressive set of names in there, Ricky O, 2 x Wanganeen, Brockman, they are all capable of playing much higher.

We were a bit off from the side we had round 1 with uni holidays and guys going up into the A's. I don't think they will be as dominant as everyone is worried about, wait until they play Adelaide Uni and Houghton then we'll see how things look.

Lesson of the day - if you're going to play unregistered players, put them in the back pocket and make sure they don't stand out by kicking 10 goals.
