Player is cleared from Mawson Lakes end so not sure what your problem is but feel free to keep up the cheap shots

Then the player should have committed to a team earlier if he wanted to ensure he was cleared to play.

Too bad, so sad

Your mob is a fairly obvious answer there, given the squad you managed to recover.

That'll all change when you get back, I'm sure 8)

Good work by Lockleys on the weekend, they certainly have improved & adjusted to the conditions well.
I had to take off straight after the game unfortunately, which robbed me of the opportunity to meet the forums own Zedman.

My new weekly segment on here, is going to be the 3 things that I have learned from the previous game.

1. Lockleys have added a real determination to tackle & pressure from what I saw last year
2. Lockleys are a well drilled & structured team without individuals.
3. My haircut is no where near trendy enough to fit in, in the Western suburbs around Lockleys

I wonder what the odds of the Lodge being 0-3 were at the start of the season. I had them down to be $2.30 favourites for the flag, I still think that they are a quality side and will be around the mark at the pointy end of the season.

Do people think a 9 team division makes it easier or harder for sides to qualify for finals?

I realise one less side is one less position to finish above, but it's also 2x less games that might be possible victories (or losses).

Even if Brahma Lodge go 0-3 Saturday are they really in danger of missing the 5? Mawson Lakes, Ingle Farm, Central United all look like bottom 3 sides, and with Fitzroy & West Croydon playing each other this week, they'll only be 1x win back from one of those sides and 2x wins from the rest of the pack with a softer draw coming up in the following weeks.

Easier, only have to finish in the top 55% of your group not the top 50%.

Although it's not crisis time at the Lodge I'm sure they would've sub-conciously lightly penciled in round 1's home game against Ingle Farm as a likely win. It would raise some alarm bells as to where they are on the pecking order as it will come down to who beats each other from the middle group of teams.

I still stick to my pre season prediction that they will struggle!!!

You cant just become a power house after being a total basket case in just one season!!!

Still a bit of work to go!!!
