The coach last year also resigned, under a different circumstance. But no one has been sacked.

Not a great outcome balak sort ya shit out the league can't afford issues like this on top of the form
of the reigning premiers

Not sure what you're making a big deal about but if you're concerned about me saying he is struggling with depression, that was his wish, that people know the reason behind his resignation, to stifle the bullshit stories that can arise if you are too ambiguous with these things.
To me, I think it's good he's willing to put it out there. Dunno, maybe I'm wrong.

Hairy cat be happy with those weekend results!! As for the Balaklava coach, full marks for coming out with his condition and sincerely hope he gets all the help and support he can get, it’s not nice to have and if you haven't much idea of it shouldn't say anything at all, well done to him for speaking out.

Freaky results in the APFL and AFL today. Huge wins for HWE and Virginia.

I heard that HWE were all over two wells on the small oval to their credit. Sometimes it's not a bad thing for a team that's seemingly nominated as "the best in the competition" to lose a game in my opinion.

It's great for the competition, any of the top 6 can beat anyone on their day.

Rams played really well. Whilst the first 3-4 goals for the Rams came thru telling mistakes by the pies, the rams' midfield were the difference and their forwards kicked big goals when needed. Pollock lead up through CHF and marked strongly several times. Roberston and Joel Mont dominated. Nicklaus was well held for most of the game, but still kicked 3, which in a low scoring game was significant. Disappointing result for the maggies.

Hwe turned the game into a tight congested game of footy and there defensive pressure was good to stop two wells run and carry that they are usually best at. Couple of costly mistakes deep in the roosters back half that gave hwe some momentum leading into the 3 quarter time break and they ran with it in the last.
