No way should they be winning any game with their injury toll. Got to give the Eagles plenty of kudos

They absolutely worked the ass off when they didn't have the footy. And work rate got them the Win.

Port were absolutely pathetic. No other word for it.

Not using it as an excuse (especially against the injury riddled West Coast) for your mob, but reckon a few of your blokes are playing injured .. West Coasts work rate was just outstanding, and whilst it's usually a cornerstone of your game, yours was missing by comparison tonight.

McGovern is the AFL's most improved over the past 12 months, he's a gun.

As for Shithard, for all the hard work and good things he does, he certainly burns the ball far too often, even when the game was all but lost he could've covered himself in glory but tried to be too cute instead of putting it to the top of the square.

I love his work rate but really needs to hit targets.

When the Eagles were boxing you in at times he was the only one breaking the lines and getting out, just that he burnt the disposals too often. Good with the bad at times, that's Jasper.

sometimes the continual playing on methods of football can also fluck ya

port were in mad rushes and barely used the corridor, most entries ended via boundary lines

westoff needs a rest in the 2's

schultz copped a massive corky

but west coast should of smashed them really, eagles gave up so many chances in forward line

laCrae & priddis were superb in the middle

Eagles mids worked very hard tonight and killed us very easily. Our boys just didn't click together tonight missing easy possessions which cost us on the turnover.

AO the last 2 port home games have been a absolute disgrace. Canteens not open when the gates are open, canteens shutting half way through the third qtr and disc in the urinal have mould growing on them.

Wasn't sure if I was watching aussie rules or union for the final 1.5 quarters of that match. Well done to WCE anyway, could have won by more if they'd taken some chances in the 3rd.

Another round of upsets, just 4/9 in the tipping. Good for the comp.

The biggest crowd since 1998 on a Mothers Day fixture by any AFL club, in a shit timeslot, against a side who wouldn't have a massive supporter base in SA.
