Sorry, ma'am...

Mate, I thought that was a prerequisite of all SAFooty posters. We're a goodlooking bunch. :D

Something else I rate: the reduced-to-clear dairy section at the supermarket. Got some bloody nice Brie for $2, knocked down from $18. I may get food poisoning but it'll be well worth it in my opinion.

Weekends away! My folks went to Pt Vincent and booked us a cabin as well - had a fantastic time, cold weather and all. It was sunny and the fish were biting, couldn't have hoped for a better weekend. :)

Took the missus to Pizza Hut Marion for some "all you can eat action" ;)

The Pizza Hut Marion experience never lives up to what you think its going to be. We (she) paid $21 each, and we each ate about 4 pieces of pizza and one cup of soft drink.

We were crammed in near a table of 20 people, 15 of which were kids under 5. We also were put as far away from the buffet as possible, so I had to squeeze past another table of 10 year olds that didnt know how to push their chairs in. The mum caught me giving her son my "Im gonna punch you in the head" look. So I flashed the bastard at her too. ;)

The only upside was the pizza tasted good fresh out the oven. Other than that, it was a very frustrating dinner.

As we left, we were treated to a light show by SAPOL, blocking a car in the carpark. We lingered for a bit of a nosey, but nothing happened. So we went home and I had a nap before going to see Mad Max in Gold Class at West Lakes.

Pizza Hut - 2/10
Nap - 7/10
Mad Max - F**kin Awesome/10

Some of the boys from the footy club organising running sessions for Monday and Wednesday night outside of training. We've lost a few close games and a bit of extra fitness will help, but I'm staggered that people are doing it voluntarily - and they don't get paid to play either. Maybe that's not unusual; maybe other clubs do this too, but to put it in perspective, our previous club would pay players whether they trained or not, and it was not unheard of for people to pull out of games on a Saturday morning, citing 'shopping' or 'hangover' as excuses. Fantastic to see players with the right attitude and hopefully we can notch up a few more wins on the board. :)

That's not unusual for players to miss games Fisho, in the SANFL a player told his club preseason that he would have "General Soreness" for three weeks mid season ;)
