Good tight game played at glandore oval on the weekend. Conditions meant the game was very contested which I think suited us more than Salisbury as they looked to share the ball around and use their spread. They'd be a very different side in dry conditions on their big oval. Very happy to hit the bye at 5-3 with the number of players we've had unavailable in the first half of the year.

Was good to see pag doing what he does best and marshalling the troops from the back half, he knows how to win a free kick for high contact too ;)

Would agree that the conditions probably favoured you guys but you still gotta put the goals on the board and you did, unfortunately we kicked a few too many behinds and it cost us. You guys deserved to win though, leading for 95% of the game. We didn't adjust to the rain as well as you in ths second half of the first quarter and therein lied the difference.

You guys have a good even spread, strong bodies and are very well-structured. Best WOS team I think I've played against.

All the teams are doing their best
hop-ing for a good con-test
some days win and some days lose
lets try and leave out all the boos

Lets replace them with a cheer
and do not drink too much beer
support your team with all your might
and dis-cour-age a nasty fight

follow rules and play your part
then games flow well, right from the start!!!!

Gooooooooooo Footyyyyyyyyyy!

Exactly. It's hard to look like a clown at the top of the ladder.
Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.

on a serious note, what makes Havens unbeatable this year?

Obviously a full forward who keeps kicking 10 goals a game helps...

Why IMO it's all working for us so far-
The Coach
Our Fitness
The recruits we've brought it
And the attitude change we've had after losing 2 GFs last year, the penny has dropped on how hard we all need to work to be successful.
