Cross and Kirkwood would be big chances too. Jimmy Allan could poll a few more votes than many expect aswell (although not enough to win I wouldnt think, but it could interfere with Panos' chances).

Not particularly confident about todays game, looking through the Westies lineup they have a fair few weapons .. We'll need to keep them below 10 goals to have any chance I reckon.

going by recent Norwood v West matches, you'll BOTH struggle to kick 10 goals!

Both halfway there at halftime, I'm tipping West will hit the 10 goal mark in the 3rd quarter

Nah, at least in that case there's an excuse for terrible disposal and poor decision making.

Pretty fair call JK, not too far off the mark in the end.

I reckon today was a fantastic game of hard footy. The slightly better team on the day came out with the points in the end.

West have absolutely improved, well done Bloods 8)

It would be good if teams knew how to overcome the boring and defensive Norwood style however until it's done we have to painfully cop it.

wouldnt surprise me if this was the year .. As good as our midfield is we don't seem to have the same size and defensive pressure from them

Lazy question. How many lazy hit outs did lazy Sammy B get to help us lazily win our umpteenth game in a lazy row against West?

Thats not too bad, West supporters tend not to travel to the Parade, obviously their recent form dragged a few out of the woodwork so thats good to hear

Baulderstone 33, Dawe 5

This Norwood fan and many others are hoping you'll cop it for a bit longer yet. Do you expect a significant change in style when it's resulted in the recent success it has? Come to play, and beat it.

Did anyone see silverlock try & stirup the members today after scoring a goal. What a tosser. He looks like mini tarzan plays like softlock. The last hard ball he got was checking his balls at puberty.
How many times has Westies tried to intimidate opposition over the years only to lose the plot & get beaten
i am sure they get stage fright when playing in front of more than 2000 people

Missed the game but was following it in Thailand, not sure why West go against their gameplan when they play us. Have played some pretty decent football this year. Agree re the physical stuff, they have tried it against us numerous times in the past few years and it backfires everytime. Noticed North tried it last week aswell and it backfired also. Sides should take notes of how the Eagles play against us, sides have virtually zero chance of beating us in a tight arm wrestle

It went along the lines of how I expected to win (if we were to win of course).

Whilst we are capable of better Im sure Westies folk would say the same of their mob. I was pretty impressed with them, they look a lot more dangerous offensively than they have in recent seasons.
