Mitchell Park over the Crabs by a fair whack - cannot recall exact score but it was something like 30.23 to 4.4.

Wasn't a pretty day for the Crabs, from the get go in both grades we were lackluster. Nearly everyone walked into the change rooms pretty embarrassed with themselves.
To make matters worse a few of the boys found around $400 missing from wallets (NOTE: this is not me accusing anyone at MP, I played with a lot of their guys last year and think a lot of them are great guys). It was more an unfortunate circumstance where new players were unaware of the valuables bag and those running late just put it in their bag.
Will hopefully over the next few weeks be regaining a few guys from injuries who are yet to play/played a quarter this year.

We had it once after getting thumped by Pulteney in the parklands in the magoo's. We managed to work out who done it though as one of our own players couldn't even afford a drink at a servo on the way into to town but was quite comfortable getting on the gas during the A's.
Needless to say, he found out on the way home (well sort of on the way home) that he'd done the wrong thing to the wrong people, he never played for us again.

It's not often that you can lose by 25 goals and claim that you were "robbed"..

Haha. Different game. A grade played at Sals west and that's where we lost some stuff. Reserves played at nth pines and no dramas there.

Our club was shattered when we heard that news crabman. I've been at the club for 6 years and that's a first. I'm the A's team manager and really diligent on valuables so if anyone is not sure about them come and see me and we will lock them up in the sports club with ours. Even the umps did it Saturday.
That said you have some good players in both grades and will improve in the coming weeks, but Saturday was a big day for us and some club legends and we played accordingly. Look forward to our next game.

Big game for Mitchell Park this week. Beat Salisbury West and they remain in contention to play finals.
