Umpire with the dreds is fantastic I think. Plenty worse higher up than him.

Young blonde haired lad we had against MP the other week wasn't too bad except for being a bit heavy on downfield frees

Yeah understand, it was said in jest for a laugh.

Another odd thing happened with the A Grade actually.

Salisbury West took a bit long getting out of their huddle and the umpire balled it up when Mitchell Park were all ready but nobody from SW was in position. Our ruck-man grabbed it, and waited, then threw it back to the umpire once everyone was ready.

Thought it was interesting. Even the Salisbury West guy said he would've taken it and kicked it forward.

I would have appealed for a freekick for a throw

I am really interested on a genuine basis to get Div 7 posters ideas on the best players and where they play. The forwards are probably clear with Gilling Smeich McDonnell Bray stand outs. So who are the other players who crumb, kick goals and are dangerous. The mids are plentiful and hard to get a guide on, Mcmurtie is a terrific player and I rate Chris Stephens from AV, but the defences are not often recognised. For me Bondio from Adel Uni is a gun full back, best I've seen at this level. Who else catches the eye defensively.

Josh Davis is easily one of the best mids in the Div.

Jack Currie is a terrific back pocket, can play tall or small.

Cam Schutz = Gun!

Andrew Curyer (SW) is dangerous - did win an assoc medal and kick nearly 100 in a season the other year as a small forward, able to play through the midfield/

Nick Read would go close to being the best player in div 7 this year, but I've heard he may be moving to Sydney for love/work.

Curyer looked very handy on the weekend but didn't get enough quality supply. I did notice he had Ingle Farm shorts on though!

I haven't seen a better ruckman than Mitchell Park's Tom Roberts. Slightly undersized though and he probably got a little worn down against Angle Vale as they had Burgess and another man mountain to rotate. Besides that he hasn't really been beaten IMO - but I didn't see the Houghton game.

Simon Stead (Brienne of Tarth) has been very reliable as our fullback this year, he would be close to contention in a team of the year, Mark Schuppan has been good at Centre Half Back and Walscak would be close to leading our BnF off of half back but has missed a few games with gonorrhea or syphilis or something.

Midfield - Chris Bradford. <3

He is quick too. He did look better in the midfield than forward against us. Nihill from Adel Uni impressed me too as running half back.

Gollan is deadly. Aside from Varcoe he's the one we would worry about the most I reckon.
