Think it is important that the efforts of Jamie Clarke-Rantassa with 16 goals is recognised....that is a fantastic effort whichever way you look at it. Congratulations Jamie

The guy is a superstar and would get some decent delivery from his brother. Having played with this bloke before he has got a great set of hands but when it comes to goal kicking he is either on or off depending on the day... Some games he would kick 5, 6, 7 straight and some games he would go 1.5 or 1.6.

Someone can probably confirm if he kicked any points but I wouldn't be surprised if he kicked 16.0 but i'll go with 16.2 or 16.3!!

It wasn't 16 straight but it must of been close, was simply unstoppable, hit a few mongrel punts that split the centre too!

Some interesting results on Saturday with green acres and para hills both getting the points. Both seem to be in great form. Any match reports from the games?

Para Hills played very nicely and BOS were a bit off. Brand new footy went over the western boundary and into a neighbours back yard early in the 3rd quarter. Huge dog prevented its return to the game and from then on we were never in the contest. may have been the turning point.

That oval at the paddocks is huge. I ran about 30k's in the B's carrying messages. Looking forward to a return to the postage stamp at Park 2 this weekend.

Our B grade were pretty good after quarter time having given them a 7/8 goal head start.

It's a medium size oval at best, you are misled by the size of your ground

Hmm it's got some very wide wings i think - length ways down the middle it's a pretty standard size though.

That was my take on it, I thought it was quite short coast to coast but wide, I used to love playing there, always had atmosphere, especially dobbing goals in the last at the club end and getting appreciation from the locals after a few bevvies.

It's huge for these old legs. I then boundary umpired under 12's at Flinders Park on Sunday morning and hobbled around like a cripple for the next 2 days.
Ready to go again tomorrow.

Outstanding performance today by BOS against CLG.
Goal for goal in the 1st quarter and CLG skipped away to a 20 point lead at the half. Extended that to 27 about 10 into the 3rd and then the game turned. BOS kicked 6 of the last 7 goals of the game, withstood the physicality of the lions and managed to somehow stay composed in the face of some of the more unusual decision making seen in recent times in a game of football.
Like I said, outstanding.

Did we get a free ride last time? I wasn't there so I couldn't comment. Still got the 2 points so maybe the decision making doesn't matter so much.

You would have been impressed with the way we played today in the dry against a pretty good side :)
