Needs more games.
8 teams playing each other three times would be perfect for a minor round.

This has to happen and pronto or its the end of this competition forever

AFL 2016 game program is close.
Let us hope SANFL improve on their disappointing programming efforts last year.
4 byes was a joke in such a short season,
for me winter is the footy every week,
and why not!
Surely all the clubs need attendance numbers big time.

A grand final the week after the AFL grandfinal is high on my wish list.
Oh, and a reduction in byes would be good also.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Agree with both points, more rounds too. Stuff this 8 months between games, it should be less than 6.

That's the thing. 8 teams play each other 3 times. 1 home, 1 away, 1 at AO. These should be Double headers, Bank Holiday weekends etc to try and maximize crowds.
Longer season, 1 mid season bye maybe 2, and when it suits the SANFL not the AFL, and the GF back to 1st week October

It's not difficult.

The SANFL 2016 fixture should be our soon,
I just hope we don't get 4 byes or whatever they call it next year (4 weeks off).
No footy,no crowd attendance, surely a waste of all the clubs resources.

Don't hold your breath....with Easter falling in March next year it might have to be more weeks off that last season if the South/Glenelg Good Friday game continues.

Yeah, I don't understand why the SANFL don't get it.
Wasted Saturday's are a joke,it's winter that means footy matches.
Every SANFL club wants the income and every club member and supporters want footy every week,
Not even 1 week off with no game for their club is a pain, not 4 weeks off.
I don't get it.

I'd guess that they do get it, it's just that their own competition isn't their number 1 priority.

Easily fixed - each SANFL team plays each other 3 times giving us a 21 week minor round ( 7 @ 3 ) plus we could have 1 week midyear break during which the State team plays.

Great news, the crows are complaining about the byes.
Would expect it will now be fixed for next year!

If the ravens requested all other teams had to perform a cabaret in pink too-toos before every game the SANFL would have a running tab at the stage shop.
