I didnt think we would lose but didnt think we would win by much. We have been pretty average for awhile now and just getting over the line. The warning signs were there against North. Injuries havnt helped but hopefully its just a mid year dip and form and we can peak at seasons end. Should still finish top 3 which gives us a chance. Huge game next week now

The boys only won 1 quarter of footy again which is a worrying sign. Imagine if we put in a full game effort?

Had bad feeling about the game, and even tried to back the Tigers 1-39 (fuggin shithouse hospital internet had other thoughts).

Things leading into the game that had me concerned:

1. Bays have genuine ability and are far improved - Have been expecting them to lessen their dropout periods in the 2nd half of the season.
2. Some of our supporters call for 100 point wins going into the game. FFS just worry about getting the 2 points!
3. Reckon we're flirting with selection with eyes on a bigger prize later in the year. That may or may not work out to be a good thing, but disrespect an opponent and you cop what you deserve.

Well done Bays , hope you rack up a few more before the season is out.

Played four quarters for the first time in yonks. Waited all game for the quarter fade out and it never came. Even in the final with the Legs coming home hard and the game in the balance they didn't drop their heads.

Not that the Bays game could be without criticism. A few players made silly handballs running forwards, to players under the pump. They persisted in switching the play by kicking backwards and across the face of goals. Just for a change they managed to get away with it every time; Norwood never made them pay for it. In fact Norwood seemed to have their foot off the pedal for the entire first half. I don't think Norwood treated the Bays with adequate respect. By the time they realised that Glenelg was going to give them a challenge they were 5 goals down and up against it.

Terry Milera should win mark of the year for his effort in the final term - hope the injury he sustained on returning to terra firma will not keep him out next week. Fair to say that that effort iced the game for the Tigers.

Norwood will be playing well into September. When they turned it on they were good, and they won't be taking games against the Eagles or Bloods lightly.

Now I get to bask in the glow of sheer joy when one's team knocks off the ladder leader. For six whole days I get to kid myself that my rabble is not crap :D

Wow what a day at the Footy! Went hoping for a competitive effort but fully expecting a loss. While I certainly agree with Sudo about the movement of the ball out of defense at times, in general I like the way we are playing and it seems the players have confidence in the game plan. Things are definitely heading in the right direction, and hopefully we can go on and grab a few more wins between now and the end of the season.

Crowd was 3,640.

Could tell after our earlier game at the Parade that you were heading in the right direction. And on the flipside we've dropped back to the pack a bit. Comps pretty even these days, OK North are struggling a bit at the moment, but there's no opponent that can be taken lightly this year.

Yeah, Nah. Ticked a few boxes today....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Doubtful, 2 games ahead and a shitload of %.
Not sure Glenelg have 2 wins in them for the season, have gotten worse if anything

Wonder what 'coach' ramrod will say. No doubt the loss is part of the 'grand plan' for the season - 'the loss we had to have!'

Definately suprised me with their improvement, think you can pass the spoon on for another year atleast. I love the false hope the Tiger fans have got from the last few weeks ;)

Agreed but congrats to the Bays!
