England might be unleashing a great white hope , their left arm fast bowler Mark Footitt, who might make his Test debut in 2015

FOOTITT FIRST CLASS BOWLING
230 wickets
26.16 average
44.83 strike rate
3.50 economy

Mark Footitt has an excellent strike rate of 44.83
50 is a decent strike rate , 44 is exceptional , that strike rate is very Lightning Mcqueenesque

Lighting was a very handy left arm quick in his day. The prick terrorized me as a young opening batsman.

Think he terrorized a lot of batters in his day

Poms off to a good start this Ashes series. Nick Marsh has tonned up against Kent. One step close to selection.

I watch the tour match highlights last night and this morning and both Marsh and Rogers were given a few lives by the Kent fieldsman.

Seen the figures and for Ahmed in particular I'm a bit concerned about that, I don't think he will or should play a test but if he does he could possibly leak runs and that could be dangerous. But thats the way with all Leggies really, there's not much between them taking a bag of 4/5/6 and them going for 7/8 an over.

As Smith as a part timer he's always going to have a high R.P.O, he just seems to have that golden arm and has proved to be a bit of a partnership breaker.

Would have thought Kent would have deliberately targeted Ahmed too at the request of England

Mitch Marsh another ton, has to take Watsons alrounder spot in the first test! You'd think the 11 would be:

Rogers
Warner
Smith
Clarke
Voges or S Marsh
Haddin
M Marsh
Johnson
Starc
Hazlewood
Lyon

How have you rated Hazelwood's and Starc's recent performances?
