Crows 2015

Talk on the national game

Re: Crows 2015

I think Phil himself would be saying "time to get on with the game" and would hate all the fuss being made. No right or wrong way to handle it though.

Anyone else feel a Tippet like departure for Dangerfield? Everyone talks up one destination and another silent club swoops through and picks him up?

Hawthorn.

Hawks could not have the $$ in their cap, unless a big name retires.

Ive thought all along he will end up at Hawthorn.
We let Franklin go but had the money to keep him, since then we have signed Frawley, id say we have plenty of cap space.
Not sure we need him but as far as midfielders go, its probably the inside mids where we are a little light on.
Not sure if his kicking skills would pass at Hawthorn but i guess its not much worse than Sewell

Thanks for sharing that, Sharksta.

Closure for the players, coaches and administrators of both clubs, and the wider AFL community.

This is going to be a cracking showdown!

Very good article. The bit about Meredith going to AO with Quinn is very moving indeed.

They have named the Showdown medal the Phil Walsh medal for Sunday's game, although its not confirmed if the name will stay.

I do believe Richmond have a lot of cap space too.

Good decision.

Also a good decision to hold off on doing something permanent until a later date, though I do think renaming it permanently would be fitting.

Reckon we are throwing our money at Trelor

On Treloar, apparently there are a few Victorian clubs all openly courting him...except Geelong. What does that tell you?

That Geelong are one of the teams in Victoria not chasing him.
