No brown paper bags, all above board here. Loyal players sticking around. 4 of them are that keen, they have new jobs at the pub bottleshop.
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!

There used to be lists of the top 100 of all the grades and combined on there. Haven't seen it for a few years - I stopped looking when I dropped off the bottom ;)

Well not being able to go to footy last week meant valuable time with the wife! That was fun!
So glad footy is back

Willunga - strath! Heart wants Willunga head says strath by 30
Goolwa - pongy! Have to go with the Maggie's, mudlarks don't like the rough stuff and that's all Goolwa deliver. Goolwa 36
Enc bay - yank! Mcgregor to kick 10, that's $160 a goal. Bays to win by stacks!
Victor - vale! Victor by 18 young lads have had a rest and vale to begin stacking B grade!
Creek - compass! Upset win by creek, compass getting ahead of themselves and no rest for their stars Vitkunas and hunter at championships! Creek 6

If get time interesting reading the knew rules on next years salary cap!
Took 3 schooners to get through
$3 grand per week max, with 1 marquee player paid over the $500 max per player up to 1g.
L.F Goolwa might struggle fitting this yrs payments into next yrs $3g Lees gets that on his own now doesn't he??

Round 13
Bays v Victor @ night......Not a great place to watch night footy, victor to hope for a power failure Bays 40 pts

Yank v Goolwa..... Hoping for a miracle but I think the gug man to grab the spoils Goolwa by 60pts

Strath v Creek....Which strath this week ? Unfortunately both will beat the creek Strath by 36 pts

Compass v Myponga.... Local derby always entertains the crowd its the Dogs by 30 pts

Willunga v McLaren....Got it right last week with their win over victor I think its back to back upsets and its McLaren by 9 pts

Ol mate at the Tav was telling me that compass have 2 locals in the state side is that correct ? If so has any other lads from the great southern made the side

Lets all get along ,support our boys and let the sunshine in ;)

Yeah they are the favourites for this weeks tips, but you never know.
I've seen willunga and mclaren in recent weeks... If the willunga we played shows up again they'll win easy

UPDATE: on the post I put up a couple weeks ago in regards to an offer to a coach to leave his current gig to go coach another club in another league! The chance of success with a team that he has built is greater than the pull of cash, and some quick talking heads at his current club!
The new club have still offered the position to him next year along with 25G and other incentives, and the open license to bring 5 3 point players from where ever he likes!
Not a hard decision to make if his current club isn't there due to their inability to field sides!
Hopefully they can have some ultimate success this year!
What a way to go out!
Before everyone jumps down my throat I have friends affiliated with the offering club!

The country football boards new player payments allows you to pay whatever you want to a coach as long as as they aren't a playing coach!
The payment must be declared and taxes if over the ato's allowable hobby amount!
As far as The club being able to afford it! Not a problem!

Gonna be a soggy day for footy!
Enc - pongy might be closer than fans think with Barnes in WA enc by 2 goals
Goolwa - Victor Goolwa easily, hoping Victor young guns can get some form back Goolwa 5 goal
Creek - Willunga merges boys by 2 goals
Mclaren - strath like strath all depends which side they put on the park! Hold Elliot hold strath! Strath 3 goals
Compass - yank once again depends which yank turn up! Either compass by 2 or compass by 20 goals!

Rug up put your scarf on and embrace the best country league in SA

Gee Compass aren't travelling to badly. Lose their gun forward Ziggy to state footy, but get Pinny back from injury and kicks a lazy 6.
