Benny, Benny, Benny.
He was adamant that they weren't going to get him to play.
Hopefully I catch up with him next weekend so I can chirp him.

The big fella simply cant help himself. Trains the house down during the week and still moves like a 25 yr old.
Could be just what the SGFC need to have another crack at the flag.
South look a completely different side than before the double bye and had too much pace for Freeling.

Benny cracks me up - keeps returning to play.
But makes me insanely jealous, at the same time.

I might be wrong in this, but I think players over a certain age - 28 - can opt out without consequences; in the Blg that is. Other leagues might have a similar rule.

One would think there should be standard rules across the state if the SACFL really want to lift the integrity of zone footy

Club football should always come first, shouldnt be forcing people to play rep games

Just over half way and the mighty Nuri Tigers look unstoppable but there's a lot of footy to be played. What a great comp we have this year with a chasing pack of six teams separated by only three points. What does everyone think? Is it our year or is a club going to emerge out of the pack and close the big gap that exists between Nuriootpa and the rest?

No argument from me but the SACFL doesn't allow any fixtures on that weekend. But the point is it must be either non compulsory for players to make themselves available or compulsory, not variations across competitions.

i think you will find that zone is non compulsory across all leagues and that it is only association football that is.

South had a big win over Willaston today, the 95 point margin flattered Willaston in the end with South having 30 more scoring shots. Big test this week at Nuri but will give a good indication of where we are at.

Maybe, guess we will find out. We have been close to full strength the last few games and results have shown that. As I said it will give us a good look at where we are at, hopefully we still have an ace or two up our sleeve

Can I borrow your crystal ball, right on the button Chuck.
Unfortunately underanned and under sized today, Nuri far too good, we had a decent crack but Nuri slaughtered us in the air. We showed glimpses when we used our pace and opened them up a few times but the middle two quarters was clinical by them, kicking goals from everwhere.
Barossa beating Centrals has really opened the door for Kapunda to grab second now

Not sure a coach needs to be cleared.

No, but a playing coach will need to be cleared and I'm sure he wouldn't be travelling to Williamstown to showcase his talent from the coaches box.

Yeah true, think Barossa might have gone a bit early with the announcement, far from a done deal
