He was adamant that they weren't going to get him to play.
Hopefully I catch up with him next weekend so I can chirp him.

I might be wrong in this, but I think players over a certain age - 28 - can opt out without consequences; in the Blg that is. Other leagues might have a similar rule.

One would think there should be standard rules across the state if the SACFL really want to lift the integrity of zone footy

Club football should always come first, shouldnt be forcing people to play rep games

No argument from me but the SACFL doesn't allow any fixtures on that weekend. But the point is it must be either non compulsory for players to make themselves available or compulsory, not variations across competitions.

Willaston are crap, Nuri will beat you by 12goals.Jim05 wrote:South had a big win over Willaston today, the 95 point margin flattered Willaston in the end with South having 30 more scoring shots. Big test this week at Nuri but will give a good indication of where we are at.

Can I borrow your crystal ball, right on the button Chuck.
Unfortunately underanned and under sized today, Nuri far too good, we had a decent crack but Nuri slaughtered us in the air. We showed glimpses when we used our pace and opened them up a few times but the middle two quarters was clinical by them, kicking goals from everwhere.
Barossa beating Centrals has really opened the door for Kapunda to grab second now

Wonder which one will be the 'marquee player' under the salary cap??
Has South Gawler agreed to clear Obst??

Not sure a coach needs to be cleared.

No, but a playing coach will need to be cleared and I'm sure he wouldn't be travelling to Williamstown to showcase his talent from the coaches box.
