Genuinely enjoyed being out there with the boys, gave tips and 1 & 1/2 hours of their time. Well done PAFC.

BTW Gray might struggle to get up this week.

Hartlett is great with the kids, a really nice young man who presents himself and talks very well.

Actually told us he couldn't participate in even holding a tackle bag or kicking to the kids. Sore boy.

He surprised me as I had heard otherwise. Lobbe was outstanding, is he in the leadership group?

Both Port and the Crows are pretty good at this and have really improved their efforts this year. You probably just got lucky with the players though to be fair as the whole squad would have been spread across the 8 zones.

Glad they did a good job. The Crows were at Cove last week and were excellent also. Some players do struggle within it though. Shouldn't be that hard to do footy with kids especially when it's being facilitated by football people.

He'll go well at Freo, the delivery into him this season has been poor and he's been sidetracked with other things on his mind.

Schulz wanted a two year deal at the end of last / start of this year. The club was only willing to offer the one and I guess Jay accepted that, backing himself in to perform this year and secure another year next year.

There was some conjecture this was unsettling for the playing group, in a broad sense, as Ryder had been brought in and it may have upset some of the closer members of the side around Schulz. It was, from what I can gather, unsubstantiated.

I hope ( and trust ) that list management would take into consideration the delivery to forwards this year when considering Schulz' future.

Can I see him playing somewhere else for 1 maybe 2 years tops? No, I can't. I think he'll get another year offered to him at Alberton.

I don't think he's happy with just the 1 year nor the coin that's being put forward. Unfortunately his form hasn't matched his capabilities this season and whether that is delivery related or other reasons remains to be seen.
