What's the reason for the early start for the St Paul's / Mitchell Park game this Saturday??

St Paul's asked us earlier in the season if we would be prepared to play early so their 1st 18's could play their arch rival Pulteney?? If I recall, as the late game, in return they agreed to play us at home in a night game. Win win so both clubs agreed.

I hope the rumour about their coach being sacked isn't true as well.

It's true, as far as that's what I was told on Saturday.

Yes, I believed they sacked their coach. Might be something underlying it, seeing as they've been going well.

speculation only but i believe it may have something to do with committee not agreeing with coach on A grade selections.

Their Ressies were competitive against North Pines, smashed Adelaide Uni then just dropped away in recent weeks...

Sounds like a few "punitive" selections haven't gone down to well and the committee has stepped in perhaps.

Something has gone pear shaped. Their only 2 wins in the last 6 games have been against Salisbury West and Flinders Uni.

One thing is for sure, we won't be taking them lightly this week.

I think they thought it was gonna be a walk in the park and make the GF but aint prepared to do the hard work or fight to get there they didnt even seem to care that we held them to a goal all day and were just laughing and joking around after the game.

Our game was all over by qtr time should of just called it then and saved our oval from getting fully shredded up.

Coach was sacked for carrying on at their sponsors Hotel a while back.

Investment made by 2 young blokes at the start of the season appears to have backfired.
