Good to see PAOC planning a re-development of their facilities commensurate with the club's standing in the Amateur League. Will vastly improve what usually is a pretty miserable place to play/view footy and cricket.

Wow did they need this! Quite possibly the worst facilities in the amatuer league and definietely the worst Old Scholars facilities.

I love this topic. Here is my top 5 best and worst changerooms in the amatuer league for away room facilities. Keeping in mind I have not seen them all

Best: Walkerville, Pooraka, Golden Grove, Kilburn, Payneham.
Worst: North Haven, PAOC, Portland, GeppsX, Flinder Park.

Not making the top 5 for worst, but still very average: Adelaide Lutheran, Eastern Park, Unley, Port Districts, SMOSH. Most of these have been based on size or lack there of.

I always really like Golden Grove's but for the fact they seem oddly positioned relative to the oval itself. Kilburn also wonderful.

Old Iggies, PAOC and PHOS changerooms I generally dislike.

Very glad you mentioned the showers Pag, our away showers are better than the home ones! Our away changerooms are in alot better nick than they used to be.

Eastern Parks away changerooms are horrible! Second worst I've been in behind Adelaide Lutherans, same with the ground with the condition it was in Saturday, second worst behind Lutherans.

I'm with Pag. Showers were warm and had a bit of space. Could always use more than one shitter with my team but there not alone there and I went into destroy the club bowl pre match. Grassed area just outside next to the car park meant you could stretch. Also easy access to and from the playing area and next to the car park. I thought they were small but alright.

How anyone could rate them below the following is beyond me...
Eastern Park - seriously, do a renovation. Do they even have showers and toilets
North Pines - smallest room ever
Portland - size of the room is comical but showers and toilet are good so probably a pass. I guess when you have 25 players in there size does matter.

Golden Grove was the benchmark of good change rooms for me

No chance of any truth there mate, the council are the only ones that can do anything to the clubrooms, the council have had plans for relocating Eastern Park for some time now, it's probably the reason why they haven't spent too much time or money sprucing it up.

Thanks for clearing that up FE, although the oval can be a bit ragged, you don't get many area's in the northern suburbs where you can have two ovals on the same premises, it would be a shame to put housing on it.

Great news for the EPFC news then and now that you mentioned it I do remember seeing the drawings up on the walls when I went in there on Saturday to buy some food, had a quick look in there but didn't pay attention to the drawings, I probably should of had a closer look.

The Glenunga FC clubrooms will be amazing once they're finished.

Whichever of SPOC or Scotch snags 5th appears to have the capacity to do what SHOC did last year and wreak some major havoc on the finals! Exciting comp!
