The tribunal hearing last night had nothing to do with Salisbury FC other than they sent a witness to give evidence for a report on a HV player. The evidence was crucial and went a long way to getting the correct outcome. Not guilty.

Like Demon Juke said, hopefully they get some good karma out of this and the way they responded to our request was all class and showed how professional they are.

Andrew Graham will be lining up for his 200th game tomorrow against Kenilworth at Blair Athol Reserve.

It should be a corker of a game too!

yep, you can thank the Eastern Park and Westies U12s for that, both clubs banned for a week, right through junior grades

You can connect the dots with that scenario. Seriously at a game of year 6 and 7's what a disgrace.

I think it was under 12 game not 6/7 but you are right not good at any age.

It was....

Anyway, I fully agree with blocking the entire junior club from playing. club mates can look each other in the eye and say that that sort of behaviour costs everyone a game.

Well done NEMJFA and SAAFL for their stance over the past week or so.

Im aware it was a club game I was just saying that most kids in that game were year 6 or 7's.

Wtf is wrong with people at any age to think shit like that is ok when primary school kids are playing footy. Shit, I never saw anything more than a minor dust up in 14's and 16's in the SFL as a junior let alone as a primary school kid.

Been a lot of talk recently about mail medalists, best players in the comp ect. Mick Howson is the best player I have seen this year, absolute jet!

Kilburns mids and forward line is exceptional, and their best 10 players are easily the best I've seen this year. I do question their back 6 though.

Still, Kilburn far too good for us today wish them the best.

Yeh hooter howson can seriously play the game, needs to do it more often though. Awesome forwards, good mids, I thought they're backs are probably very good too. What do they lack? Flynn can run. Clutton can shut chf, and Graham can hold fb?

Flynn did his ACL about 5 weeks ago, so his season (and possibly his career) is over.

Micky Howson would have kicked a dozen, had a few gimmes been put through, but I'm sure he'll take the 8 goal haul.

There will be some selection dilemmas ahead, as a few players are due to return and nobody is out of form...

Even though he took a couple top grabs (one contested was a beauty)and it was his 200th I thought Graham was beaten. It looked as the ball went in their defensive 50 they looked under the pump and still coughed up 17 goals. We had our entire first choice midfield and half backs not playing and the Kilburn mids put on a clinic. If the strong opposition teams come finals time get more inside defensive 50's in then I can see it as a potential weakness based on yesterday's game. But if your mids and forwards put up a game like yesterday then you will be very hard to beat.

That's a valid point.

Our backs didn't have the day they wanted; your counter-attacking was sublime at times, and I think we were caught off-guard by it.

Having 4-6 first-choice players on the sidelines through injury and work tends to stretch resources, as you'd well know. When those players become available, it gives the side a facelift and can lessen the workload and reliance on certain players, especially in defence.

For instance, Vinny Urbancic has been playing up forward recently due to Jake Levy and Robert Long being absent. I think he's great at both ends of the field, but in the strongest Kilburn side, he'd hold down CHB and release Adam Clutton to a flank.

Cody Gill was unfortunate to get an injury early in the Glenunga game last week and, combined with Cliffy Wilson being away, it takes a bit of sting out of our midfield rotations.

On another note, it's good to see Micky Hare has still got it!

Yes our sling shot was good yesterday and I was pleased to see some blokes step up given the forced changes for us this week. It was actually a good game of footy after 1/4 time. A nice cameo by our half forward line especially the 16 year old.
