What's their payment system ? I can't see the hawks being relegated I think they will do enough to stay up. It would t be fair on the div 2 clubs if the hawks were relegated would it.

My understanding of Salisbury North is rather than giving a bloke an envelope full of $50 notes each Saturday Night they tally up the games a player plays each season, make deductions for a player failing to train, get back to the club on Saturday nights and support club functions and pay as a lump sum at the end of the year.

Pretty good system if you can budget and manage it appropriately.

As for unfair on the Division 2 Clubs, meh, it's hardly without precedent (also in the Salisbury area). Also, for what it's worth the gap between the top of Div 2 and the bottom half of Div 1 is not what it was even five years ago. Salisbury North would (a lot of water to go under the bridge) be a good Division 2 club, but given at least one of Modbury, Gaza and Unley will still be there will not run rampant.

If the Hawks end up in Div 2 decision pending it would not be insane to assume the club spending will be reduced not to mention with the addition of a salary cap. This may result in a few lads joining their mates down Main North Rd in wine country.

Fair call.

It's not without precedent on the forum either, is it?

Fair enough, there was no indication that there was any legal side to it (maybe there was in the post deleted).
It just looked like you were stopping discussion about the league's decision .

Milne BOG for PNU and Clinton 2nd best for SN, did they not go near each other all day?

Anyone that watched that game shed any light, baffles me that 2 blokes going head to head in the ruck can both have such an influence on the game?

Clinton absolutely destroyed Milne and that was the key to them beating PNU so easily.

Absolutely destroyed him  Please. That's why he was named PNU's best. Still a panel led my Garry McIntosh wouldn't know anywhere near as much as an anonymous poster.

Beating them so easily. 5 goals and pretty much the same amount of scoring shots. Apart from the first quarter it looks an even contest.

I suppose Salisbury North would have won the flag had they not lost their points.

Destroyed? Surely you're joking. Milne's around the ground work was phenomenal. If Milne didn't play, PNU would've went down by 10 goals. Get your eyes checked before you post again, < no name calling please, it's his opinion and he's entitled to it without backlash>

Clinton clearly beat Milne for mine. Stoppage work was first class. Milne battled well around the ground and still took a few marks but Clinton clearly won the ruck battle. Anyone who didn't see that may have to open their other eye ;)
