The players should hang their heads in shame, but I guess it wan't their fault they got caught.

We dont need to start this discussion up again, but if you are 18, and someone from the club says here take this, they would just trust that - as you have said you would do with the GP

What annoyed me with this whole situation is the Club Doctor, (Reid) has walked away from this without too many questions asked of him. He's still there. I would have thought that he would be the one to oversee this. If it was all done behind his back, then I don't think he was doing his job. But apparently to all the media and the club people, he's a really good bloke. Who cares. I hold him as responsible for all this as much as Hird.

Um he was charged but flagged the issue with the powers that be at Essendon.

In the ens he got off as the AFL didnt have a case against him.

But I would defy ANY club to perform at their best with all the rubbish been thrown at them over the last 3 years.
Again the club is guilty as hell but the players aren't. (that we know of).

Yeah agree with that but that list is still shithouse.

Yep, needs a decent turn over. Have got something to work with, just need to make all our draft picks a winner. That will be crucial

I'm talking about the list when hird took over.
If McKernan is first ruck it tells they sorely need a ruckman or 2.
Decent spine..Hurley hooker Watson Carlisle daniher.
I'll stand by my claim. They're mentally shot and without all this bollocks they would push top 4 sides

No, you said they'd be fighting for a top 4 spot.
Not push top 4 sides - big difference.

I rarely read the editorial type garb in the paper, but I read the Fletcher bit in about 2 minutes and didn't even pick my coffee up in the time I blitzed through it. Fascinating reading.

VICTORIA Police have approached AFL player Courtenay Dempsey after he was the target of racial abuse online.

The Essendon Indigenous defender is furious in the wake of the Instagram post.

Dempsey has acknowledged that the offender apologised and deleted the message, but he has the Bombers’ full support if he wants to take legal action.

Have heard that Neil Craig has thrown his hat into the ring for head coach :(
