I don't take enough notice of other teams players to make a prediction

For North, I'd expect Motlop and Miles to just get double figures, I can't see anyone else getting more than 5 votes

I think Panos at $17 is pretty good value.

Surprised to see Porplyzia at 2nd favourite.

I like Cross to win it, but Kirkwood, Panos and Allan all decent value as outside hopes.

If they were taking each-way bets then I'd probably have small go's at Snook and Baulderstone too.

Unfortunately I haven't seen enough footy this year, especially involving teams other than Norwood. Would be interested in Port supporters thoughts on Summertons season. He's a class act and rarely seems to play a bad game.

Allan will poll well early on but I think his injuries and Panos taking votes will mean he misses out.

Yeah most likely, but he should have a few BOGs, and we know what his polling history is like. Baulderstone could get 15 or 1, you never really know with ruckmen, so Allan and Panos shouldn't have a lot of competition from teammates. Unlikely to win, but good odds:chance ratio I reckon.

Possibly the 1 vote, in a losing side...

I would think one of Andrew Moore, Steve Summerton or Karl Amon will share the 3 and 2 and then possibly 1 left for a South player...

Bass was good for them in ruck, I thought...

Chris Schmidt had just another lazy 39 diposals yesterday to enhance his chances - at 87% efficiency as well.

Is now averaging 30.1 disposals(the only player to average in the 30s) and 5.6 clearances per game this season. Has had nine 30+ games and the remaining seven he's had no less than 21.

Are these 2 the leading contenders for the magarey. Scmidt and Cross. Can you see anyone else winning it?

I think it will between Cross and Schmidt......
although I suspect Ports Eugene Warrior to be high in the voting..... he spends more time on the ground than most players -none of this rotation BS and is a great team player..his vocal encouragement and instruction to teammates is exemplary, covers the ground well , has a good engine, and is well versed in the team game plan .He also fills the space when we required . Although the downside is he seems to rarely catch the umpires eye, so that may cost him a few votes.
