Any Houghton people coming down for a look?

Yes but there wont be any St Pauls antics

Morell id assume a fair few people will stick around after the Bs have played and have a little look

Ah yes I forgot Houghton were playing in the magoos. That should be a good game actually. The D7R Adelaide Uni were a 25 goal better side on the weekend than the last time we played them. Wouldn't be taking it for granted.

Definitely will not be understimating Adelaide Uni in the two's. Already knocked us off by about 7 goals during the year. Last time we played them we beat them by about the same margin, but they did have lots of players unavailable due to exams. We'll need to be up and about and switched on if we are to get into the big dance.

I have to admit, I really liked the way St Paul's went about it. They were very physical - much more than us - and really put the acid in the game. They'll be successful if they keep that core group together.

But I did have a bit of chuckle to myself when at 3/4 time one of their leaders was grabbing his guernsey and yelling "for this lads!! do it for this!!" - errr, you mean the carbon copy of the Glenelg/Richmond strip which you've worn for 12 months? Really? I like the spirit but would've taken a different angle perhaps...

I can only assume it will be at Park 10.

Should be two ripping contests. Looking forward to sticking around to watch your lads take on Uni. I reckon MP are more than a good chance!

Thought our B-grade lads were great on Saturday. 2nd quarter let them down big time, but they stormed home to give themselves a chance with the final centre clearance of the day, which unfortunately went the way of North Pines.

They'll need to be ready to run this Saturday though, if we are indeed playing at Park 10.

They can't fence off Park 10...

Oh that's only for GF's? My bad.

Personally I'd be stoked if it was Park 10 or University Oval. Who gets priority - their A1 side playing a regular season game or their "C grade" playing a prelim?

C1 fixture is aligned with D1 fixture. They are playing R18 this week.

I'd say it will be easier to move the C1 game than two D1 games.

R18 in C1 looks a beauty. AU need to beat Henley to finish top. Henley need to beat AU to finish third if Athelstone lose. But Goodwood need to beat Athelstone to finish top if AU lose, while Athelstone have to win to claim third spot.

So their D1 sides are playing at Uni Oval at 12:15 and 2:15 and their C1 side is at Park 10 at 2:15 - at this stage.

Need to find room for Houghton Vs Adelaide Uni D7R and Adelaide Uni D7 Vs Mitchell Park.

Might as well just have the D7 games at Mitchell Park and be done with it...

Draft fixture has them as follows:

Sat 29 Qualifying C2 10:15 Adelaide University V Gepps Cross Park 10

Sat 29 Prelim D7R 12:15 Houghton Districts V Adelaide University Park 10

Sat 29 Prelim D7 14:15 Adelaide University V Mitchell Park Park 10

I'm think the C1 game will be at 10:15AM at University Oval with the D1 games.
